Update Steps:
1. Download the latest version firmware file on your computer/laptop, then unzip the file.
2. Turn off the main camera, insert SD card on the main camera, use the short 3ft Type-C USB data cable (in the package box) to connect the main camera with your computer, on your computer there will show up a flash drive, open it.
3. Copy firmware file to the flash drive. MUST make sure the file name unchanged. For example, D53 firmware "YCD52D53.bin" rather than YCD52D53.bin(1).
4. Disconnect the camera with your computer. Now DO use car charger power cable to power on the main camera. NOT press any button (include power button) on the camera, patiently wait, you will notice Blue light on the lower corner on the camera keeps blinking, wait for 20 seconds until the blue light stop blinking, then the camera will turn itself on, set up again on the camera by following steps shown on the screen, after completed setting up you can check in the camera’s Settings--System Info, whether it is the new firmware version.
Note:
1. If your version is the lastest, you don't need to update this firmware.
2. Please ensure that the "YCD21D22.bin" or "YCD52D53.bin" file name remains unchanged. otherwire it will not be updated.
